body Click on the pictures of the jerks below to see the whole list. You don't have to be a jerk to be a professional athlete, but with so many Grade A jackasses in sports today, it sure does feel like it sometimes. I mean, these guys are making tons of money, they get VIP treatment wherever they go, and millions of people idolize them. Is a smile so much to ask?

Our intern (John the Intern) put together a list of the biggest cranks in sports. Hey guys, the jerk store called, and they're running out of you!

Click on the pictures of the jerks below to see the whole list.

Did John miss anyone? Is anyone on the list unfairly? Should anybody be on there twice?

Vote for the biggest jerk on the list and then add your own comment about how John is anti-(insert your city here).

body I voted for T.O. because he never helped his team(s) win. Most of the others aren't jerks because they helped their teams win. Bobby Knight had a winning program and a high graduation rate compared to the rest of the NCAA. Barry Bonds, Belichick, Parcells, Clemens, Barkley, Jordan (even Michael Vick) are all winners which is what sports is all about. Maybe Stern is a jerk also, but he we only have to see him during the playoffs.

body K talk about educating yourself on a topic.. Try re-reading the article, in the mean time let me dumb this down for you a little bit. He never said anything about stealing offensive calls. He said Belichek KNEW WHERE TO PUT THE OFFENSE ON EVERY PLAY...why? BECAUSE HE KNEW WHERE THE DEFENSE WAS GOING TO BE...how? BECAUSE HE WAS STEALING DEFENSIVE SIGNALS!

body Not sure I know any of these guys personally, so it's about impossible to say who is and isn't a jerk but we all can agree on this:

Kobe Bryant is a rapist and Barry Bonds is a bloated waterbag.

body Ryan Leaf deserves a special place of honor in the All-Jerk Hall Of Fame for his famous media meltdown. Add the football coach who screamed he was a man and 40 and Bob Feller for a Jerk lifetime achievement award.

body It is funny when people who hate a certain person can't give a straight answer on why someone is a jerk . Belicheck (greatest coach all-time) is a very outgoing fun interview when it is with someone without agenda

body Stealing signals has nothing to do with being a jerk. He earned the name by acting the way he acts towards everyone.

body Clarification: The Belichick slide did originally say "defense" instead of "offense." It was a typo. Believe it or not I do occasionally watch football, when I'm not watching Matlock.
