With the end of the "American Idol" season, it's time to say goodbye to the "Eye on Idol" blog for a while.

As you might have noticed over the past several months, most TV-related stories on Comcast.net have been residing on our sister Web site, Fancast.com. Starting now, the same will be true for "Idol" coverage.

You can follow this link to Fancast.com's "Idol" news page to keep up with the latest from the world of "Idol." With judges' contracts up in the air and auditions taking place all over the country, there are bound to be some headlines in the off-season.

Thanks for the kind words. We're still figuring out the transition for next season, and this blog will probably come down some time in the next month or so.

We'll make sure you know about our "Idol" coverage next season. Just keep an eye on the Comcast.net home page as the "Idol" rumble begins to approach in January.

And most of them can't write their way out of a wet paper bag. So enjoy your break from Idol, Victor, and we'll see you after the Superbowl! You're the Best!! this has been my first trip to Idol Blog this year and I must say it has been quite enjoyable... Not only did I enjoy your very informative articles, but it lead me to meet some dedicated Idol fans and bloggers and develop some new friendships!! Please stay here Victor!!.... I love this comcast forum .... don't want to migrate over to Fancast!! some dogs don't like to learn new tricks!!!
