With the end of the "American Idol" season, it's time to say goodbye to the "Eye on Idol" blog for a while.

As you might have noticed over the past several months, most TV-related stories on Comcast.net have been residing on our sister Web site, Fancast.com. Starting now, the same will be true for "Idol" coverage.

You can follow this link to Fancast.com's "Idol" news page to keep up with the latest from the world of "Idol." With judges' contracts up in the air and auditions taking place all over the country, there are bound to be some headlines in the off-season.

We are hanging in Hiatus-ville, keeping an eye on you, as you keep your eye on Idol!! As practically everyone above mentioned, we don't much like change.... so here's hoping the blog is kept in tact with you at the helm (or whatever that thingy is... LOL)

Thanks for a great season, Victor. You've given us so much to think & talk about and really helped this season come alive for me. I've been an Idol fan for years, but this year, I really felt as if I was part of it. Can't wait for next year - I expect to see you back at the Helm. It just wouldn't be the same without you. I could feel it.

Because of what I got involved in here, I somehow went deeper in, and now I'm an official

You have the talent to write your articles as if you were talking to friends. If you are leaving us, I will really miss you. body This is very upsetting. Idol is a great competition and what makes it really special for those of us who love the show is Victor Balta and Eye on Idol here on Comcast . What would the season be without having Victor here????? What a disapointment to think that Comcast is even thinking of moving Victor elsewhere. Victor does a wonderful job and has brought together some great people who faithfully wait for each and every word he writes. He has a wonderful rapport with all of us on the Eye blog and I'm hoping this is just a rumor!!!! With the tours now on the road there is no reason for Victor's blog to go away even in the off season. Victor is needed to keep us informed and debate every thing about Idol and not just in the weeks of competition. Arrrgh!!! Leave Victor here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
