My congratulations to the 2009 World Series Champs - The New York Yankees. Job well done. Kudos to Hideki Matsui; we had no answer for him. The guy is a class act and a great player. A little pitching and bench help and the Phillies will be right back in it. See you next year, boys.  |

This one was sweet. 27 AND COUNTING.......

Congratulations to the New York Yankees. Congrats to exjersey only, I don't know the rest of the Yankee fans on here that well. Losing to Colorado 2 years ago didn't bother me as much as this one does. I thought the Phillies were even better this year than last year. I underestimated how great the Yankees are this year. They hit very well and proved that they are the greatest franchise in any sport. I'm a little happy for Girardi, Jeter, and Rivera. The rest of the team, not at all.
Elway: All he wanted was to be a Superbowl champion, not the greatest QB ever.

Of course, my family and I are really disappointed that our Fighting Phils were not able to win another series for us. The Yankees outplayed us and they have the best pitchers. The one thing that we are happy about is that we did not give the Yankees a free ride. They struggled against the defending world champions for their victory tonight. Charlie Manuel will never be able to "buy" a winning team. Our team wins because they love their manager and respect each other. Here's to next year boys. MAKE US PHILLIES FANS PROUDER AGAIN.

Randall...Free...and the rest of Yankee Nation can now talk the talk. Your Boys walked the walk.
I have to say I am happy for ARod. This guy is one of the greatest of this generation and it is nice to see him get that jewelry.
Also, as a MLB fan, how can you not really like guys like Jeter and Mo? These are two War Horses that still know what that big stage is all about. Incredible!
