I think we have a ghost cat living at our house. Ever since we moved into this house seven years ago, we feel a cat (or something) walking on our bed or behind us on the sofa. We have a live cat, but it's not her. She's never in the same place as the ghost cat when this happens. I don't think it means any harm, but it is a bit unnerving. We talk to it sometimes to let it know that we know it's there. Any suggestions as to what to do about it? I'd really like to know more about what it is and why it's there.

Hi...and welcome to the forums. I have always been interested in the Paranormal, and by no means an expert having lived in a few haunted houses over the years myself.....it was things you cant explain, along with voices. I do know animals at times stay around like human spirits do.......perhaps this link can be a good start from About.com. Perhaps a local paranormal research team can be of some help in your area. Does you live cat react or respond in any way when this happens?

My live cat stares up at the corner of the room sometimes, but she did that at our apartment, too.Usually she's not in the room when the "other" cat is there.

Kinda cool! I had a great big black awsome cat that died a number of years back. We were pretty bonded and after he died I would swear I felt him jumping on the bed at night...or would wake up and think he was sprawling across my legs. Maybe real...Maybe not. But after I sold that house never experienced it again.
