In a movie, the ending can be really great, just okay, or really awful. What's a movie that has a fabulous ending? For me, it's "The Illusionist." That was a really good movie, and it had the best ending I've ever seen. I love how the one character guy (forgot his name) flashes back and plays all of the key movie events in his head. It all comes together like a puzzle and it made soooo much sense to me.

That and Snatch. I thought they were both cleverly done. But I really love the ending of The Shawshank Redemption, I mean the whole movie was great from beginning to end, but I love when Morgan Freeman meets up with Timothy Robbins on the beach.. and when the warden (sp?) throws the rock and it goes through the poster of Rachelle Welsh. I was floored..

How about "The Sixth Sense"?

Casablanca either you swear by this movie or you swear at it, the ending is pretty poetic The lady from Shanghai, film noir from Orson Welles. There's a shoot up at a funhouse thats been ripped off countless times Like this movie better than citizen kane. The roaring twenties, James Cagney movie The final shot is gold. Come to think about it James Cagney movie's usually do have great endings.

Have to agree with sixth sense.
