Just wondering, what is your favorite monster in a movie?


I still can't decide....

I'm thinking right now The Killer Clowns From Outer Space..

Although The Blob always freaked me out as a kid because I didn't know what happened to the people once it rolled over them.. I'm still not sure, but my imagination is wild!

When I was a kid it was the Creature from the Black Lagoon.  It creeped me out.  I think there was 3D TV movie in the late-70's.

lots of faves......werewolves...vampyres...zombies...aliens....hanibal lecter....i suppose i will have to go with linda blairs character from the exorcist...megan...there are so many good ones that can give you a bit of a jolt

I have to agree with rambomac - Lina Blair's character - Regan in The Exorcist

For me it is a toss up between the Alien in the alien series or the gurardian at the gate in Fellowship of the Ring.

Definately the Alien. Never has a creature so obviously looked "Not Of This Earth!" Not to mentioned Eyeless, Deadly, Creepy, and Scary as Hell.

I do like the slow moving zombies that can only be destroyed by destroying the brain.........
 but the best movie monster will always be GODZILLA.....after all, he is king of the monsters

Monsters come in all shapes and sizes.  The most effective monster I ever saw was Robert Mitchum in Cape Fear.  He was scary
