Why doesn't BHO understand that it is not that we cannot wait, we cannot afford it at this time.  We need jobs not more spending.

I really liked the part of the article where BHO said that an unnamed foreign leadrer told him that their country "...didn't understand the at-times contentious debate over changing the health care system."   I thought it was so like BHO to decline to identify him.  Cute.  Real cute.

We can wait as long as it takes to do it right.  Rushing will only create a debacle we'll never overcome.

The only thing he can't wait for is to get those taxes flowing next year because the health care plan won't take effect until 2013 but the taxes start almost immediately in 2010.

Which came first? The Chicken or the Egg? We need healthcare and we need to be more competitive when it comes to producing exports. It can be argued that if we don't do healthcare now... we won't be exporting... and therefore won't need to be hiring anyone... there won't be any new jobs.

Go get drunk with an economist. Perhaps it will make more sense to you later on.

Yeah... right. The old Washington rule was to drag things out. If you drag anything out enough you can kill any bill.

He doesn't want to wait because he doesn't want people to actually read the despicable amounts of pork and corruption that will be tacked on. When campaigning, he promised to put every spending bill online for citizen review, then recanted when it came to TARP2, the omnibus bill, the spending bill, the military funding bill (which we now find out has millions of tax dollars channeled to Ted Kennedy's memorial library, what does that have to do with military spending?). Obama and the dems have to rush things through so that citizens remain ill-informed until it is too late. What happened to the promises of transparency? to the promise that Joe Biden (the sheriff--haha) would personally go through spending and cull out the pork? The lies are frustrating, the corruption is dastardly.

Some Americans got so tired of being thought of as stupid by the rest of the world that they went to the polls last November and removed all doubt.

UTHIKER,  Two questions: 1.   Why is he pushing so hard when he has the votes to pass the Obama Health Care Bill without ONE Republ. Vote ? 2.  Whats his rush to pass it ?   What we need is a Plan B.  Get the Medical Experts, Hostpital Experts, Doctors, Nurses, Insurance Experts, Seniors, a special committee of Congressmen and hammer out a plan for all those without any coverage.  At the same time when thats completed work on lowering the costs of Health Care Plans already in effect.  This is not Brain Surgery.  Lets not totally Bankrupt America and lower the standard of care currently available, especially to the seniors.
