Interesting question for those who smoke or have smoked it. Also, would you try it if it were legal???:smileyhappy:

No, I would not try it, but I don't drink or smoke cigs either, so I am pretty sure I am an exception rather than the rule.

I'm not sure I'm for the legalization of marijuana.  I know it has positive medical uses.  I know its effects are much like drinking alcohol, but am wary because of all of the problems alcohol causes with driving vehicles and the killings of innocent victims.  I think legalization of marijuana would just ascerbate these problems.  Marijuana can stay in your system for 3 mos after smoking it, so how would we police drivers under the influence of it?

Now, at least, it is illegal - so if it shows up on the bloodtest, you're busted whether you had it 3 mos ago or today.

Never used it and never will use it.  I try NOT to take dangerous substances into my body.

Sure, I'd 'come out'.  But I wouldn't change any current habits, IOW, it hasn't and wouldn't become 'my life'.

As to your comments...there is a roadside test, just not in the USA.  See paragraph 6 on page 3.  Australia and New Zeeland have been using it for years.

As for driving, I do not condone driving while taking any drug, this study states that driving while under the influence of marijuana is not all that bad.

Nope, there are enough minds being altered today by drugs.
We diagnose children with needing them, why?
Adults have alcohol, and too many other bad influences.

Just more of the anything is okay, it doesn't hurt anyone else....but it always does.

I've smoked it before.  I've smoked a lot of it.  My IQ is in the mid 130's.  I guess that I didn't damage my brain too much.

I wouldn't "come out" per say because I haven't "used" for many years.  Personal choice there but now that I have chronic migraines, I would like to use it for some relief.  In my state it cannot be prescribed for medical reasons by my neuroligist.  I just want some relief!!  I do agree with the point made about driving while under the influence, but then again, I can't drive while taking the prescrition pills they have been giving me either.
