Every post I attempt to reply to gets locked. If we can't communicate here, what's the point of having a forum?
I wanted to agree--that this is indeed the darkest day in our country's history (and no, that's not a racial slur).
God help us all.

Why, pray tell, is it our darkest day? Many people disagree so I am curious what is so horrible about a duly elected President being sworn in?

This is the beginning of the end because a whole bunch of ignorant people heard the words free handout and elected a man who hates this country - a socialist, a marxist - one who favors our enemy and just like them dreams of our downfall -

I don't think it is our darkest day, either, Pat, but disagreement with the majority is not the same as being wrong.

Yep and this will be locked too. I suggested in the Bushsupporter thread that we need to give this man a chance. I am a staunch Conservative. I did not vote for Obama, and it is highly unlikey I will vote for him in 2012. I worry about his "big government" approach, but I dont think he is an evil man. It is too bad that the Bush haters did not see how decent a man GWB was and give him the chance I am willing to give President Obama. I also said that America is not a man-- a president. America is her people. We are not heading for our darkest days unless "we the people" allow it to be.
